Experiencing Ha Long with the Famtrip 2026 Delegation
As part of the AVTIP Strategic Famtrip 2026, Australian tourism businesses had the opportunity to explore Quang Ninh’s outstanding tourism offerings through a series of immersive experiences in Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu.
The delegation visited FLC Ha Long, enjoyed an overnight cruise aboard Bhaya Classic on Ha Long Bay, and participated in a range of activities including kayaking, exploring Sung Sot Cave and Trinh Nu Cave, a Vietnamese cooking class, and an early morning Tai Chi session.

Exploring Wellness and Cultural Tourism
Beyond Ha Long Bay, the delegation visited Yen Tu and stayed at Legacy Yen Tu – MGallery, a destination that blends traditional Vietnamese architecture, premium accommodation, and rich cultural heritage.
These first-hand experiences gave the Australian delegation valuable insights into Vietnam’s potential for developing wellness tourism, cultural tourism, and experiential travel products for the Australian market.

Creating New Opportunities for Cooperation
The program helped showcase Quang Ninh as a premier destination for Australian travellers while strengthening connections between tourism businesses from Australia and Vietnam.
Through practical experiences and direct engagement with local tourism partners, AVTIP continues to promote Vietnam’s destinations and foster long-term tourism cooperation between the two countries.
